About the project

Designing Idaho is a project that aims to understand the condition of Idahoans and to promote collective action towards our desired future. This mission requires the participation of community leaders, organizations, and passionate individuals. We find that the design process is a wonderful vehicle for facilitating productive discussion while simultaneously creating a path towards solution deployment. 

We collaborate closely with Idahoans and stakeholders through meetings and events to incorporate their insights into our community design projects. We are constantly fielding feedback, this project is almost entirely about creating productive feedback loops. The plan is to start with good ole fashion cold outreach to organizations or leaders of interest and hoping that the passionate few will emerge. We hope that if you align with our vision of applying design thinking processes to Idaho problems interesting, you get in touch. 

Simply, Idahoans! A breadth of perspectives contribute to the process, the more the merrier. We invite any Idahoan to participate.
